The Institute for Medical Information Management at the Center for Medical Data Science at the Medical University of Vienna has joined forces with the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology to found OHDSI National Node Austria, which will be led by Dr. Adnan Jouned.
OHDSI is a global open-science community; its Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Data Model (OMOP CDM) standardizes health data to enable reproducible, federated observational research. The Austria node will promote a growing national community, support OMOP adoption (incl. ETL and vocabulary mapping), and connect partners to international network studies. MedUni Vienna leads: Dr. Adnan Jouned, Prof. Dr. Georg Duftschmid, and Florian Katsch, M.Sc.
