Data Re-Use
We develop new mathematical and statistical methods for the re-use of routinely collected data arising in a clinical or health care context to better understand how patients are treated and to make the findings available to science, health care providers, and the interested public.
Personalised Medicine
Based on clinical data, we use novel network methods to develop approaches for personalized medicine and to translate a patient’s phenotypic, genetic or other biomolecular information into individual diagnostic or therapeutic decisions that are specifically tailored or optimised to the patient’s organism. Tools from statistics, mathematics or computer science for advanced data analysis and modelling support the goals of personalised medicine.
