Christoph Bock received the Erwin Schrödinger Award of the Austrian Academy of Sciences

Christoph Bock, Professor of Medical Informatics and Head of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the Center of Medical Statistics, Informatics and Intelligent Systems at the Medical University of Vienna, has been given the Erwin Schrödinger Award by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW). This is one of the highest science prizes awarded annually by the OeAW for outstanding scientific achievements.

The Erwin Schrödinger Award 2021 honours Christoph Bock for his groundbreaking achievements in the field of single cell sequencing and epigenetics.

The award ceremony took place on 8 June 2022 at 6 pm at the Festive Hall of the OeAW in Vienna.
