We seek a postdoctoral fellow with a background in (bio-)statistics/mathematics/data science etc. The position is integrated in the TopstatsM project funded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences and is a joint endeavor of the Institute for Clinical Biometrics and the Department of Epidemiology. The project aims to answer epidemiological research questions utilizing Austrian registry data. The focus, however, is a methodological meta-objective to quantify the vibration of effects resulting from different pathways through state-of-the art statistical analysis plans developed for the research question at hand. The project involves close collaboration with our colleagues from nephrology, pharmacoepidemiology and occupational epidemiology as well as methodological experts within the STRATOS initiative especially in the field of time-to-event analysis, causal inference and the open science panel. The postdoctoral fellow will be locally supervised by Daniela Dunkler, Susanne Strohmaier and Georg Heinze. The position is fully funded with a competitive salary for two years and will start in Summer 2024.
