Project Structure
WP1 (Stakeholder Involvement): In WP1, interviews are conducted with stakeholders, including citizens, on their perspectives. All participants are treated in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and all project work complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
WP2 (Evidence Synthesis): In WP2, systematic reviews are used to estimate the relevant parameters for modelling in WP3. Established Cochrane methods and guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) are used for this purpose.
WP3 (Modelling and Simulations): In WP3, alternative scenarios will be modelled using an agent-based population approach. The modelling strategy will follow the ISPOR/SMDM Modelling Good Research Practices. All parameterization data involved will be treated in full compliance with the GDPR.
WP4 (Deriving Recommendations): WP4 will develop recommendations for policy makers at state and federal level with the involvement of citizens and stakeholders to improve future epidemic and pandemic preparedness. Special focus will be placed on the federal states of Vienna and Lower Austria.
