How to find us

The institute is located in Vienna’s 9th district at Währinger Straße 25a, between the “Josephinum” building and Vienna University’s Department for Computer Science. Our institute is marked as building 27 (note: this is *not* the street number, which is 25a) on the map of Medical University of Vienna’s buildings, which can also be downloaded as pdf. You find us also on Google Maps. For convenient parking options, head to Sensengasse 3, our closest parking facility. Please keep in mind that parking availability may be limited and fees may apply.

As for public transport, you can take the metro U6, change at “Währinger Strasse – Volksoper” to one of the trams 40, 41 or 42 (“Schottentor” bound), go two stops to “Sensengasse”, and continue walking along Währinger Straße. Alternatively take the metro U2 till “Schottentor”, change to one of the trams 37, 38, 40, 41 or 42, exit after two stops and walk back Währinger Straße till number 25a.

Upon arriving at the gate, continue straight until you reach the building with a distinctive transparent structure connected to the entrance. Take either the elevator or the stairs to the first floor, where the AI Institute is located on the left-hand side behind a locked glass door. Please use the intercom to speak preferably to the secretary’s office or directly to the person who invited you.
